Ever since I turned 17, I’ve been trying all sorts of things to keep my skin looking good. But let me spill the tea on the one thing that really made a difference.🍵

It wasn’t about adding more products to my skincare routine. It was actually about what I stopped doing. And no, it’s not some secret skincare product. It’s changing a daily habit…

Here’s what I did to transform my skin:

1️⃣: Said goodbye to ice baths:❄️🚫 I used to think ice baths were the secret to looking fresh and awake. Turns out, they were stressing my skin out!

Ice cold water was making my body freak out and stress, which wasn’t doing any favors for my skin.

2️⃣: Warm showers became my best friend:🚿✨ Instead of shocking my body with cold, I switched to warm showers. It felt like a gentle hug to my skin and helped calm inflammation and redness.

This simple switch made my skin feel so much happier.

3️⃣: Embraced the warmth:🍵💆‍♀️ I started drinking more warm teas and kept my environment cozy. It’s all about keeping that stress away from my skin.

By ditching the ice and embracing warmth, my skin has never looked better. It’s clearer, brighter, and I swear it’s even thanking me.

About Kelly Prehn

Kelly's journey began unexpectedly when a Models 1 agent spotted her in Covent Garden during a ballet rehearsal. Despite landing a six-figure Japanese contract immediately, upon arrival in Tokyo she was deemed 'overweight', fired and sent back to London.

Her breakthrough came when Mr. Shu of Shu Uemura recognized her potential, launching her acclaimed career as a beauty and fashion model across Asia—from Japan and Korea to China and Singapore.

A leading cultivator and producer of cultural collaboration and exchange between East and West, Kelly leveraged her industry expertise and transitioned from modeling to sharing beauty insights as a columnist, becoming a highly recognized advocate for niche traditional wellness modalities. She was the first to bring numerous transformative practices to a wider audience. Her influence grows rapidly: 1.4 million books in print, tens of millions of women reached through her teachings on social media, she currently impacts 11 million women monthly—and growing.
