Why Sleep is So Important ↓
If you believe in the power of good sleep, like me, but struggle to get enough — this post is for you.
I transformed my life by prioritizing sleep.
Here’s why sleep is the missing link for reducing anxiety and achieving your dream life:
The following are essential for a restful night:
1. Realizing the importance of sleep
2. Committing to a consistent sleep schedule
Sounds simple, right? But if you suffer from stress or anxiety, getting enough sleep can be challenging. That’s why many people struggle to achieve their goals.
Here is how I improved my sleep…
3 main steps that worked for me:
1. Hot Baths at Bedtime: Taking a hot bath before bed can help you relax and prepare your body for sleep.
2. Drink Hot Water: Drinking hot water can soothe your system. (Yes, I know some of you give me stick for this in the comments!)
3. Eat Warm Soup: Incorporating warm soup into your diet, possibly with every meal, can have a calming effect.
These steps helped me manage my anxiety and improve my sleep. I learned this during my time in Japan, and it was incredibly effective. I still use these methods today as preventative measures.
About Kelly Prehn
Kelly's journey began unexpectedly when a Models 1 agent spotted her in Covent Garden during a ballet rehearsal. Despite landing a six-figure Japanese contract immediately, upon arrival in Tokyo she was deemed 'overweight', fired and sent back to London.
Her breakthrough came when Mr. Shu of Shu Uemura recognized her potential, launching her acclaimed career as a beauty and fashion model across Asia—from Japan and Korea to China and Singapore.
A leading cultivator and producer of cultural collaboration and exchange between East and West, Kelly leveraged her industry expertise and transitioned from modeling to sharing beauty insights as a columnist, becoming a highly recognized advocate for niche traditional wellness modalities. She was the first to bring numerous transformative practices to a wider audience. Her influence grows rapidly: 1.4 million books in print, tens of millions of women reached through her teachings on social media, she currently impacts 11 million women monthly—and growing.
